Wind Power Electricity

Let’s be honest with each other for a quick second.  This economy is going through a very hard time.  Because of that we need to make sure we are doing everything we can in order to save some money.  One of the best ways to save some money is to somehow cut the cost of your electricity bill.  But how is this done?  One of the most popular ways is through wind power electricity.  In this article you are about to read, we are going to go in depth and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of wind power.

Advantages:

1-If you are interested in “going green” you will be glad to know that with the use of wind power you will not be polluting the air.  In fact, the only time a wind turbine is responsible for polluting the air is when it is actually being created.

2-If a natural disaster happens in your area, everyone will be without electricity.  Expect for you.  As long as there is a little bit of wind you will be able to produce as much electricity as you would like.

3-One of the main benefits of using wind power electricity is that it can generate electricity for a large amount of people as long as you hook it up to some kind of power grid.

4-Most of the alternative energy sources out there require the use of fuel to operate.  This can start to become expensive.  If you use a wind turbine you will never have to use any types of fuel.

Disadvantages

1-If we are going to be honest here, I think we should be clear that wind turbines are ugly.  These can get even more ugly if you are going to make them tall which you will have to in the majority of cases.

2-One of the biggest disadvantages is that they can be easily damaged in a thunder storm.  If you live in an area where you have a lot of thunderstorms and lightning then it is highly recommended you think twice about getting one. According to the national lightning  safety institute lightning is the main reason for wind turbines being damaged.

3-Wind turbines have some sharp blades and can be very deadly for birds.  If birds fly across your lawn often then you should expect to see some dead birds every once in a while.

4-Some of the wind turbines out there can be extremely loud.  Unless you are willing to pay well over 2000 dollars for one that isn’t loud you need to expect it to make some noise.  This becomes a problem with many people who have neighbors.

All IN ALL

Wind turbines do work, and they will save you money.  The only problem is they can be easily damaged with lightning and can make your neighbors very annoyed.

So are there any other alternatives?  Latest research has proven that Magnetic Energy is by far the best source of alternative energy.  If you want to learn more about Magentic Energy then check out Magniwork.
